By creating an account or using EdToolkit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

EdToolkit provides AI-assisted educational planning and organization tools through two applications: - **classroom.edtoolkit.com** — designed for independent educators and small class operators - **homeschool.edtoolkit.com** — designed for homeschool families and parent educators The Service includes lesson planning, curriculum organization, compliance tracking, and related educational productivity features.

You are responsible for: - Providing accurate account information - Maintaining the security of your login credentials - All activity that occurs under your account - Ensuring any child profile data you provide is accurate and appropriate You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts on the homeschool application are parent/guardian accounts only — children do not have independent access.

You agree NOT to: - Use the Service for any unlawful purpose - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems - Upload malicious content or interfere with the Service - Use AI-generated content in ways that violate academic integrity policies of institutions you are affiliated with - Resell or redistribute Service outputs without attribution

The Service uses AI models to generate educational content (lesson plans, activities, assessments, etc.). - AI outputs are suggestions and tools — you are responsible for reviewing and adapting them before use. - We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. - You retain ownership of any original content you create or modify using the Service. - AI-generated outputs may be similar to outputs generated for other users from similar prompts.

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription: - Subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. - You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. - Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of initial purchase. - We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. - Free tier access may be limited or modified at our discretion.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our privacy practices.

- The Service, its design, code, and branding are owned by EdToolkit. - Content you create using the Service remains yours. - You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service. - We do not claim ownership of your lesson plans, profiles, or other user-generated content.

- You may delete your account at any time. - We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. - Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. - Sections that by their nature should survive termination (liability, disputes) will survive.

To the maximum extent permitted by law: - The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. - We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. - Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. - We are not responsible for educational outcomes resulting from use of AI-generated content.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved through the courts of England and Wales, unless you are entitled to bring a claim in your local jurisdiction under applicable consumer protection laws.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
